Real Madrid C.F, known as Los Blancos, is a professional Spanish soccer team based in Madrid, Spain. Los Blancos, with thirteen European Champions League titles, is the most successful soccer team in Europe and the only team to win three consecutive times the Champions League title.

With Zidane as coach, Los Blancos formed an extraordinary team and reached the Champions League finals from 2016 to 2018 winning it three consecutive times. In 2016, the final match was played against their rival Atletico Madrid. Los Blancos started dominating the game and scoring the first goal after a pass from free kick. However, Atletico Madrid equalized the score in the second half sending the game to overtime. Los Blancos won the match on penalties by 5-3 giving them their eleventh title. Their twelfth title was played versus the Italian club Juventus. The match started with the Juventus dominating possession of the game where they had three major opportunities to score. However, Los Blancos opened the score and minutes later Juventus responded. The match ended in even the first half. The second half Real Madrid scored three additional goals winning the match by 4-1 and securing their twelfth title. This victory made Real Madrid the first team to successfully defend the Champions League title since 1990. Their last title was played in Ukraine against one of the most competitive team in the English League, Liverpool. The match began with the kickoff of Liverpool. In the first half, both sides had the chances to score, but ended scoreless. Then, at the beginning of the second half, Real Madrid score the first goal of the game by deflecting a throw from Liverpool goalkeeper back into the net. Minutes later, Liverpool leveled the game and sent it to overtime. However, with an incredible bicycle kick from Real Madrid and a mistake from Liverpool goalkeeper, Real Madrid won the match by 3-1 achieving their thirteenth title. This made Zidane the first coach to win the Champions League title three times in a row.
